ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) Reviews - Blood For Beer Money

Blood for Beer Money pulls you into a dark, moody world right from the first page. The story follows Julian, a man barely hanging on, surviving on alcohol, routine, and the little dignity he has left. His life changes the moment a mysterious stranger enters his world, and what starts as a small act of help slowly spirals into something unsettling and dangerous.

The atmosphere is gritty and haunting, full of tension and slow-burn dread. The writing paints a vivid picture of addiction, loneliness, and desperation, while weaving in a supernatural thread that grows more eerie with each chapter. The way the story reveals information, especially through Julian’s missing time and unreliable memory, keeps you uneasy in the best way.

If you like dark thrillers with psychological twists and a creeping sense of unease, this one pulls you in fast. I’m still working my way through it, but the setup is gripping, the tension is real, and I’m genuinely curious to see where it leads.

Dark yet entertaining, a story that engrosses you from the protagonist's tragic introduction to his ultimate redeeming act. A great, quick read for lovers of vampire stories! Ms. Sotupo delivers a good balance between the supernatural, and humanity.
